Konkurs „Mój pomysł na biznes – Zabiznesuj w Łomży” realizowany jest przez Miasto Łomża we współpracy z Gminą Piątnica na potrzeby zadania pn. Konkurs dla młodych przedsiębiorców „Mój pomysł na biznes” w projekcie „Łomża – Miasto, w którym żyję i pracuję”, w ramach Programu Rozwój Lokalny, finansowanego z Norweskiego Mechanizmu Finansowego 2014-2021.” Jego celem jest aktywizacja i pobudzanie rozwoju łomżyńskiej przedsiębiorczości, kształtowania przedsiębiorczych podstaw wśród młodzieży oraz zachęcenie młodych ludzi do prowadzenia własnego biznesu jako sposobu osiągnięcia sukcesu zawodowego.
Zgłoszenia w konkursie były przyjmowane od 1 grudnia 2022 do 31 stycznia 2023. Wpłynęło ich 18 od uczniów liceów ogólnokształcących, profilowanych, szkół zawodowych oraz studentów łomżyńskich uczelni. Wyłonienie 10 najlepszych pomysłów podczas posiedzenia komisji w dniu 16 stycznia 2023 r. zamknęło I etap oceny zgłoszeń. W drugim etapie oceny prac konkursowych autorzy wyłonionych 10 pomysłów zaprezentują przed komisją swoje prace oraz odpowiedzą na pytania komisji. Cały konkurs zakończy uroczysta gala wręczenia nagród, która odbędzie się pod koniec marca 2023 r.
Przypomnijmy, że prace przygotowawcze do konkursu trwały już od września 2022 r. W szkołach promowana była inicjatywa, a na lekcjach przedsiębiorczości omawiano zagadnienia przydatne do przygotowaniu biznesplanów. Etap przygotowawczy zakończyły warsztaty dla młodzieży, które pod hasłem “Mój pomysł na biznes – Zabiznesuj w Łomży” odbyły się w dniach 16-17 listopada 2022r. w Międzynarodowej Akademii Nauk Stosowanych w Łomży przy ul. Studenckiej oraz Akademii Nauk Stosowanych w Łomży przy ul. Akademickiej. Na spotkaniach, które łącznie zgromadziły prawie pół tysiąca młodych ludzi, mogli oni poznać biznes w praktyce podczas panelów mentorskich lokalnych przedsiębiorców oraz zapoznać się z zasadami samego konkursu.

10 best ideas in the 2nd stage of the competition
During the meeting of the competition commission on 16.02.2023 evaluating submissions in the competition “My Business Idea – Do Business in Lomza”, the commission selected 10 business ideas, which received the highest rating.

We would like to congratulate the authors of the projects qualified for the second stage of the competition. Our heartfelt appreciation is extended to all participants for their contribution and efforts in preparing excellent, creative projects. At the same time, we would like to invite you to the ceremonial gala, which will be held on March 29, 2023, at 17:00 in the Culture Hall in Lomza.
The competition “My Business Idea – Do Business in Lomza” is implemented by the City of Lomza in cooperation with the Municipality of Piątnica for the task titled “Competition for young entrepreneurs “My Business Idea” under the project “Lomza – the City Where I Live and Work”, under the Local Development Programme, financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.”
The purpose of the competition is to activate and stimulate the development of Lomza entrepreneurship, to instil entrepreneurial fundamentals among young people and to encourage them to run their own business as a way to achieve professional success.
We accepted submissions for the competition from December 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023. 18 were received from students of general high schools, specialised high schools, vocational schools and students of Lomza universities.
The selection of the 10 best ideas at the commission meeting on 16 January 2023 concludes the first stage of the evaluation of the submissions.
In the second stage of evaluation, the authors of the 10 selected ideas will present their work in front of the commission and answer questions asked by the commission members.
The entire competition will conclude with an awards ceremony to be held at the end of March 2023.
Let us remind you that preparatory work for the competition had already been underway since September 2022. The initiative was promoted in schools, and topics useful for preparing business plans were discussed in entrepreneurship lessons. The preparatory stage was completed with workshops for young people, which, under the motto “My Business Idea – Do Business in Lomza”, took place on 16-17 November 2022 at the International Academy of Applied Sciences in Lomza on Studencka Street and the Academy of Applied Sciences in Lomza on Akademicka Street. At those meetings, which together attracted almost half a thousand young people, the latter were able to learn about business in practice during mentoring panels held by local entrepreneurs and become acquainted with the rules of the competition itself.
